Grounded in Narrative, Cultural, and Relational therapies—and infused with trauma-informed, justice-oriented, and healing-centered practices—Deniz weaves together mindful presence, embodied awareness, creative expression, and deeply attuned dialogue. She draws upon her lived experience as a cancer survivor, a Third Culture Kid, a highly sensitive person, and a global humanitarian—bringing cultural humility, layered insight, and genuine empathy to each therapeutic relationship.

Before entering clinical practice, Deniz spent over a decade in international community development, bearing witness to resilience, loss, and quiet acts of dignity across communities and cultures. Deniz is fluent in English and Turkish, and also speaks professionally advanced Spanish. She is especially attuned to highly sensitive individuals, multicultural identities, immigrants and first-generation Americans, third culture kids, and people of color.
