A Place for Deep-Feeling, High-Capacity Humans to Finally Exhale

Brave Soul Therapy offers compassionate online therapy for adults and teens across California. Our therapists combine professional expertise with lived experience to support you through anxiety, identity shifts, relationship challenges, life transitions, and more. This is a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and begin moving forward with clarity.

Who We Support

Therapy for the moments that feel too heavy to carry alone.

Survivors of Trauma, Helpers & People Carrying Heavy Stories

We support survivors of trauma, PTSD, complex trauma, childhood trauma, domestic violence, and religious or spiritual harm. We also work with veterans, first responders, helpers and healers, people in 12-step recovery, and others carrying heavy emotional or occupational burdens. Our trauma work includes grief and loss of all kinds—death, pet loss, relationships, identity shifts, health loss, and immigration-related grief—for adults and teens 16+.

Immigrant, First-Generation & Culturally Diverse Communities

We honor the intersections of race, culture, language, migration, and lived experience. Our team supports first-generation, immigrant, undocumented and DACA communities, Third Culture Kids (TCKs), mixed-culture and mixed-race clients, and people navigating interfaith or cross-cultural relationships. We strive to meet each person with nuance, respect, and cultural humility.

Neurodivergent Individuals & People Living with Disability or Chronic Illness

We affirm ADHD, autism, AuDHD, sensory needs, executive functioning challenges, and Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs). We also support individuals living with chronic illness, chronic pain, physical disabilities (including blindness), and those seeking disability-justice-oriented, fat-positive, HAES®, and Body Trust® aligned care. Our approach is flexible, validating, and responsive to each person’s access needs, lived experience, and way of moving through the world.

LGBTQIA+ & Identity-Exploring Individuals

Our space includes queer, trans, non-binary, and questioning individuals, as well as people exploring gender, sexuality, belonging, or cultural identity. We also support individuals navigating racial or cultural identity, belonging, mixed-race or multicultural experiences, and other identity transitions. We acknowledge the beauty, complexity, and resilience within LGBTQIA+ communities and the broader communities we serve.

Real Therapists with Real Lived Experience.

Our team brings both professional training and personal understanding — because we’ve lived through grief, trauma, identity shifts, migration stories, chronic pain, disability, and deeply human moments, too.

There’s something powerful about being met by someone who understands how vulnerable it can feel to be here.

We believe financial circumstances should never be the reason someone has to go without support.
