Morning Therapy Sessions at Brave Soul Therapy

Mornings can be some of the quietest—and most important—moments of the day. Before the emails, meetings, caregiving, and constant demands begin, there’s a small window of space where you can hear yourself more clearly. Morning therapy offers a chance to start your day grounded, supported, and connected to your inner world before everything else pulls at your attention.

If your schedule is full, your evenings are packed, or you find yourself emotionally overwhelmed by the time work is done, morning therapy may be a gentle and powerful fit.

Why Morning Therapy Helps

  • You think more clearly before the day fills up

    • Before the mental clutter builds, your mind is often more present and available for deeper reflection.

  • You set a tone of regulation and grounding

    • A supportive morning session can stabilize your nervous system for the rest of the day—like an emotional anchor you can return to.

  • It’s easier to be consistent

    • Morning routines are often more predictable than evenings, making weekly therapy easier to maintain.

  • You prevent overwhelm instead of repairing it

    • Instead of unpacking the day’s stress at 7 PM, morning therapy helps you build resilience for what’s ahead.

  • Your emotional bandwidth is higher

    • Many people notice they’re more honest, open, and connected to their inner world earlier in the day.

Morning Therapy Is a Great Fit For…

  • Busy professionals who can’t reliably attend evening sessions

  • Parents balancing school drop-offs and work

  • Clients dealing with anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional burnout

  • People who want to start their day intentionally

  • Those who feel “unavailable” emotionally after work

  • Anyone seeking more consistent emotional support without draining their schedule

Morning therapy meets you before the day has taken from you.

Felicia Hermle, LCSW

Felicia (she/her) is the founder of Brave Soul Therapy. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in parts work, integrating inner child work and storytelling to help clients reconnect with their authentic selves. Her work is guided by a deep commitment to inclusivity, empathy, and collaboration. Felicia built Brave Soul Therapy with the vision of creating a nurturing environment where both clients and therapists can thrive, inspired by the 12-step principle, “You can’t keep it unless you give it away.”

She’s mixed race—Salvadoran and White—and grew up as a 90s Silicon Valley kid shouting, “Don’t pick up the phone, I’m going online!” One of her simple joys today is filling her minivan with kids, just like her best friend’s mom who welcomed the teenage chaos with a quiet, loving smile in her eyes — and she hopes to be just like her when she grows up. 😉
